a small guild-related suggestion
i was just thinking it would be cool i there was a way to display your rank in a guild
for example; the guild tag on officers names could be silver and the tag on a guild leader's could be gold
or silver/gold hems around capes
this could also be linked to guild status, for example; the higher up on the ladder you are you have a different colour tag
or the more members you have in your guild the different colour the tag is. (this could be like a title eg; 20+ members=blue 40+=purple, 100+=gold)
all feedback welcome

I like the idea of officers and leaders having different tags, but i dont think it should be member dependant. I would just be nice when your searching for a guild or trading to know if the option for addition to the gh / guild is there.

Christ, don't give officers and leaders gold and silver trim. That would insanely eliminate the GvG-related trim.
There are a lot of guilds that don't take huge amounts of pride in being officers and leader and whatnot.
In my current guild, we have 1 leader and like, 13 officers and 0 members. This is so everyone can guest if we need one, and so no one can rage and kick all the members.
Basically, it's unneeded and would have bad effects on the game in general.

Hm... what about the brooch or the shoulders? That parts of the cape never change. They could be the guild status distinctive.
The leader could choose the color for them depending on status in the guild.

I think a LOT of people signing this don't know about this so I'm going to explain.
The winners of GvG seasonal tournament winners get a gold trim cape already. The second place (third too?) get a silver trim. As such, there are currently only like 10 guilds in all of guild wars that have this.
I'm all for some sort of way to destinguish officers/members/and guild leaders, but it shouldn't be the exact same system that is currently used for something else.

1st Place: Gold Trim Forever
2-8th Place: Silver Trim for One Month
9-32nd (I believe) Place: Bronze Trim for one month.
There are probably about 15 guilds in the game that have gold, atm.

This is nice for the people who do PvP. But why not some like rewards for people who do PvE. The Emotes the PvP players are way cool and the PvE people have nothing that comes close to that kind of fun. Just another example of how Anet supports PvP but not PvE.

PvE people can show off their fancy weapons and armour, but all the PvP armour and weapons are boring. Just another example of how Anet supports PvE, but not PvP.
See what I did there?
Anyways, just make the guild tag for officers and guild leaders a slightly but noticably different shade of blue, and the problem is solved.
